metroSTOR is supporting APSE – The Underground ‘Super Bin’ Showcase Event

We are very excited to be supporting this week’s event by APSE and LSSL –  The Underground ‘Super Bin’ Showcase on Thursday 8th December 2022, at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal in Liverpool. 

With interest in Underground Refuse Systems continuinly spreading across the UK, this perfectly timed event will showcase Liverpool’s new ‘Super Bins’.

Liverpool City Council has become the first local authority in the UK to install URS as a replacement for wheeled bins, following the creation with APSE of a groundbreaking procurement framework that has brought all the main European URS suppliers into the UK market. Liverpool’s initiative has the attention of councils, residents and developers throughout the UK and has been heavily publicised by the national press and on mainstream TV.

The showcase will incorporate an exhibition of the products available through the framework as well as featuring a range of speakers explaining the principle for adopting URS. Delegates will get a chance to see the Liverpool bins in action and engage directly with the main suppliers of all things URS.
