metroSTOR RCF sets a new standard for effective on-the-go litter and recycling in public spaces. Its robust construction, straightforward design, and proven components ensure reliable, cost-effective street recycling infrastructure for long-term use.

Primarily developed as a sealed enclosure to house standard wheeled bins, metroSTOR RCF features a modular format that allows for co-locating multiple waste streams. The standard front-loading configuration includes a foot pedal-operated transfer hopper for hands-free waste deposit, returning automatically to a closed position after use. An alternative version is available with an internal chute, replacing the foot pedal and hopper for simplified operation. The range now also includes a compact model configured for the safe collection of batteries and vapes, combining fire-resistant construction with tamper-resistant apertures and clear labelling.

metroSTOR’s minimalist styling ensures the RCF is a discreet and attractive addition to the urban landscape. Its compact, low-profile design minimises visual impact, making it ideal for collection close to the point of waste generation—whether on the street, in public open spaces, in educational settings or within high-density housing developments.

The front-loading aperture design accommodates either pull-out containers or wheeled bins, depending on the model. In higher footfall areas with more frequent collection, the internal chute version provides a simpler and even more economical solution where a sealed unit is not essential.

metroSTOR RCF also incorporates features to discourage unauthorised access, with internal chutes designed to make item retrieval more difficult. Service doors can be specified with cylinder locks.

Welded steel frameworks, internal hinges and latches, and concealed panel fixings offer long-term durability. metroSTOR’s unique dual coating system ensures a high-quality finish that withstands the demands of urban environments.
