metroSTOR supports HQN’s Estate Management Conference: Safety and Satisfaction
We are delighted to be supporting the HQN virtual event – Safety and Satisfaction: a practical guide to block and estate management. This year the virtual conference takes place on the 27th April and will focus on resident safety, providing practical solutions to key issues such as ASB and Fly-tipping.
Our National Account Director and metroSTOR co-founder, Nigel Deacon will be speaking at the event, where he will be addressing the rise in lithium-ion battery fires and the risks associated with the storage of mobility scooters, e-bikes and e-scooters, as well as the issues around waste management on estates.
About the conference:
Since emerging from two years of covid-related lockdowns some social housing providers have become less visible and less proactive on their estates, causing a significant rise in anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping.
The management of residential blocks has come under further scrutiny, brought into sharp focus as a consequence of the Grenfell tragedy.
The conference will cover the safety and efficiency of service, as well as take into account every aspect of the day-to-day resident experience. It will also focus on the big issues facing estate management teams, from the rise in lithium-ion battery fires and how best to store personal mobility devices, to waste management, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping.
The virtual event will hear from a variety of experts and practitioners on the practical aspects of managing blocks and estates:
