Housing chiefs to be honoured by metroSTOR
metroSTOR will celebrate excellence in the housing sector on 10 October when it presents a top award at a national event.
The 24housing Awards showcase the very best the housing sector has to offer and metroSTOR will present one of the top awards on the night – Chief Executive of the Year.
Simon Dolby, Communications Manager at metroSTOR, will make the presentation. Ten leading CEOs of housing associations have been shortlisted for the award.
Mr Dolby said: “There has never been a more exciting or challenging time to work in housing. Reductions in government grant and changes to the benefits system have forced housing providers to think creatively about the type of organisations they want to be.
“These changing times have brought the best out of social landlords and the people who work for them. Vision, innovation and passion are the keys to future success. metroSTOR is proud to help showcase the work delivered in this vital sector.”
The finalists for the Chief Executive of the Year award are: Amanda Tomlinson of BCHG, Chan Kataria of emh group, Delroy Rankin of SW9 Community Housing, Elaine Bailey of Hyde Housing, Jackie Bligh of Worthing Homes, John Donnellon of Blackpool Coastal Housing, John Synnuck of Swan Housing Association, Paul Hackett of Optivo, Steve Stride of Poplar HARCA and Victor da Cunha of Curo.
