metroSTOR exhibits at the National Food Waste Conference 2023

We’re excited to be exhibiting at letsrecycle.com’s National Food Waste Conference, taking place on 9th March 2023 at Wellcome Collection in London.

The event will bring together experts from across the industry, such as: food waste processors, producers, waste management companies, local authorities and charities – to discuss the challenges and opportunities that food waste presents, and addressing key issues such as mandatory food waste collections and solutions to accommodating additional separate waste collections.

Around a third of globally produced food is lost or wasted contributing 8–10% of total man-made greenhouse gas emissions and impacting climate change. That’s why it’s important to raise awareness of the environmental consequences of wasting food, and promoting activities that help to reduce the amount of food we waste.

Visit our stand for a demonstration of our metroSTOR FX Food Waste Unit and 8100 Series street litter bin, and to find out how to combat contaminated recycling and increase food waste recycling participation.

Mark Hollinsworth, National Account Manager, commented: “The annual National Food Waste Conference is a great chance for us to showcase our comprehensive solutions to increasing participation in food waste recycling. We are bringing along a metroSTOR FX food waste bin housing so delegates can experience our solution first hand.

Talk to us about increasing recycling participation and reducing contamination by making it easy for people living in flats and town centres to dispose of their waste and recyclables responsibly”.
