metroSTOR exhibits at the National Food Waste Conference

metroSTOR is delighted to be exhibiting at’s National Food Waste Conference, taking place on Thursday 10th March 2022 at Cavendish Conference Centre in London as it celebrates its fifth anniversary this year.

Around a third of globally produced food is lost or wasted contributing 8–10% of total man-made greenhouse gas emissions and impacting climate change. That’s why it’s important to raise awareness of the environmental consequences of wasting food, and promoting activities that help to reduce the amount of food we waste.

The  National Food Waste Conference will see experts from the industry such as food waste processors, producers, waste management companies, local authorities, and charities come together to discuss current topics in the sector.

Mark Hollinsworth, National Account Manager, commented: “The annual National Food Waste Conference is a great chance for us to showcase our comprehensive solutions to increasing participation in food waste recycling. We are bringing along a metroSTOR FX food waste bin housing so delegates can experience our solution first hand.

Talk to us about increasing recycling participation and reducing contamination by making it easy for people living in flats to dispose of their waste and recyclables responsibly”.
