New Case Study: St Helens Road & Nicholl Street
In May 2021 the City and County of Swansea Council and Regeneration Swansea formulated the Economic Recovery Action Plan in a joint venture to support the regeneration of Swansea’s local economy following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with key initiatives including supporting local businesses and tourism, and championing local food to support a sustainable economic recovery.
Swansea council worked closely with metroSTOR to enhance on-street commercial bins at two locations in the city, St Helens Road and Nicholl Street. To increase recycling rates and reduce the issues associated around side waste, and to help safeguard the environment and contribute towards biodiversity – metroSTOR PBM Bin Storage Housings incorporating sedum and wildflower green roofs were supplied across the two locations.
