Webinar – Engaging High-Rise Residents in a Food Waste Service
Join metroSTOR at 11:00am on the 19th November for a focused webinar session on behaviour change. We will delve into the barriers and motivations to recycling and contamination behaviours and help you develop some strategies that you can apply within your own neighbourhoods.
metroSTOR’s Nigel Deacon will be joined by guests Livvy Drake of Sustainable Sidekicks and Sandy Anderson of Fife Council. They will be discussing findings from a recent trial in Kirkcaldy aimed at removing the barriers to food waste recycling in high-rise flats. Nigel will also be delving into the benefits of closed access bin enclosures featuring our metroKEY app.
Livvy Drake is a behavioural change expert and sustainability consultant behind Sustainable Sidekicks. Through simple communication, she helps people break free from the green echo chamber and unlock all the benefits of being more sustainable in the professional world.
Sandy Anderson has been working in the waste industry for over 21 years with Fife Council, carrying out almost every role possible on the way up to service manager.
