metroSTOR PBC Recycling Hubs are designed for outdoor bin storage that offers co-located waste and recycling applications, where the handling of waste-streams is determined by on-site management. 

metroSTOR PBC provides both an organised and highly durable central recycling hub, ensuring that the collection of waste and on-site recycling is as effortless as possible for users. This quality is further assisted by graphics that offer clear waste stream signage, fitted to the doors of our unit. For designers and specifiers, the clear zoning of waste streams and consistent hub format supports straightforward coordination within masterplans, estate layouts and external works packages.

Our hubs are designed with a raised central wall and end sections that offer safeguarding against wind-blown litter whilst enabling access to the bins from either side. The centrally supported slatted roof section ensures that clear lines of sight are maintained throughout the structure, reducing the visual impact of our unit. The outdoor location likewise is an aid to the reduction of fire risks, whilst also providing a trusted level of security by deterring anti-social behaviour.

The open, legible structure and repeatable layout make the PBC suitable for planning-sensitive locations, while supporting compliance-led approaches to fire safety, visibility and passive surveillance.

  • Product Availability and Dimensions

    The metroSTOR PBC range of recycling hubs are available in five standard configurations, which allow the storage of two to ten four-wheel bins up to 1280L in capacity. PBC units are supplied as standard with an adjustable bin guide assembly to ensure any size of bin is held close to the door aperture – ideal for sites where bin sizes can vary for different waste streams. Custom units for different numbers of bins can be accommodated or single sided units for positioning alongside paths or walls.
