metroSTOR PCR

metroSTOR PCR is a modular cycle locker system that facilitates the design-coordinated storage of bins, recycling, cycles and scooters. Developed primarily for property frontages, the external storage of cycles, bins and household items on many new residential developments is fast becoming an integral component of the street scene, due in part to their ability to negate the risk of fire hazards. For architects and specifiers, PCR provides a coordinated external storage solution that can be aligned across frontage treatments and wider site layouts.

A compact, low-profile design makes the most of the available footprint, which is often at a premium. Internal security features such as integral sliding doors and welded tracks also work to ensure that security isn’t compromised, while supporting tighter spacing and efficient circulation planning within constrained plots and frontage zones.

The sleek aesthetic of PCR lockers can be designed to coordinate or contrast with the exterior environment as desired, with options available to help create a seamless blend between the environment and buildings on display. Configurable panel finishes and green roof options support design-led schemes and planning requirements where visual integration and sustainability objectives are key, allowing for valuable pockets of biodiversity in the urban landscape.

Side access from sliding door panels minimises the space requirement, and a selection of cladding panel colours enables design coordination. metroSTOR PCR 3 is the largest R-Series model providing secure storage for three full-size cycles with the same side accessed sliding door arrangement and integrated wheel channels for ease of use. Specification-friendly technical information, including CAD and BIM resources, is available to support design coordination, planning submissions and tender documentation.
